The crews are still being tweaked due to a few umpires who will start the year on the DL.

It appears that Bellino has made a number change from 93 to 2. The number 2 became available when Jerry Crawford retired following the 2010 season.

That is correct. Bellino is #2 and Miller is #14 now.

From what I have read, it appears that John Hirschbeck is one of the umpires that will start the season on the DL. With regards to numbers, Mark Carlson has #6. It appears that Bob Davidson went back to 61.

I have also heard Bruce Dreckman had neck surgery in the offseason and will miss at least part of the season.

I am surprised nobody has taken 40 since Terry Craft retired

Did anyone take Mike Reilly's 31. Bob Davidson wore 31 when he was in NL.

Did anyone take Mike Reilly's 31. Bob Davidson wore 31 when he was in NL. Every since the leagues merged umpires I've noticed that there's a lot more number changing - meaning established full-time umpires change numbers and take another. This happens in the NBA quite a bit too. It happens a little bit in the NFL but not nearly as much as it does NBA and MLB.

We should have add the crews by now. MLB has not updated the umpire lists as yet either.

mlb.com is not a good place for updated umpire information. The last list of crews they have is from 2010.
Joe West's site, majorleagueumpires.com is pretty good, but that's even falling behind.
