Ouch. I'm not one to crush the officials, but a garbage targeting call on Clinton-Dix for Alabama in the game vs. Texas A&M. His head is up, clearly playing the ball. Luckily he remains in the game, but Alabama is screwed out of 15 yards.

The NCAA needs to re-evaluate the targeting rule. The officials have become WAY too cautious.

I can't imagine that the officials are real happy about having to make those calls. I understand the intent of the rule, but the officials should be allowed to use some common sense.
