Hello. This is my first post so please allow me to introduce myself. I am the chief historian for the website, www.gridiron-uniforms.comWe have attempted to have a visual history of every known uniform worn by every NFL, AFL and AAFC team since 1920. We also have subsites for the WFL and USFL. Our latest project is to document every known uniform design worn by officials of the above leagues since 1920. We have a text version of such on our site (http://www.gridiron-uniforms.com/research5.html) up to 2012, but we hope to change that soon with the visual history. To my knowledge, our site will be the first of its kind to visually document a history of officials uniforms. We will be/are proud of that fact.

Just an update. We have completed the full NFL history of officials uniforms. We are now working on the AFL officials uniforms. We will then work on the AAFC, WFL and USFL officials.
As to when they will get on the GUD, I can't give a specific date, but it should be sooner rather than later!
Thanks for the well wishes. I think you'll be pleased!

We have completed the task. It is now just a matter of going live. Hopefully within the next week or so. We will also have a complimentary blog on the site.

Excellent! The candy striper era was definitely not for the color blind!
Two minor corrections: The NFL officials were locked out in 2012, not on strike and Bill Lovett is the correct spelling.
