Pete Carrol ran on the field near the end of the game and called a 4th timeout. Can anyone elaborate on what happened there? The TV crew messed this up. After a play at 3:04 there was an injury time out but the announcer said Seattle called it and they updated the on-screen graphic for the rest of the game. The clock was stopped at 2:48 but it restarted before the next snap and ran down into the 2:20s before the next snap, so it definitely wasn't a team time out. Thanks for the update. TV does have a tendency to have no clue as to what is going on. I cannot count the number of times there has been a pass to the back of the endzone, the catch is made, the covering official is in the center of the screen with his arms upraised and the TV guys are saying things like, "Did he get it? Did he get it?"

The gamebook shows an UNS/sideline interference was assessed on the kickoff.
