Post observations here.
Mrs. FF7 is hosting a party tomorrow so I'll be doing some cleaning but I will DVR the game and hopefully watch it the same night.

Way too much indecision on the Mariota fumble/no fumble. The crew stood around the pile way too long and no signal was given until Burks made the announcement. The review was pretty obvious but it took an inordinate amount of time IMO.

I'm glad Burks is getting a chance to work this game. I officiated high school ball with his son for a couple of years and it's always good to see someone from Colorado do something special!

HL George Gusman with a couple outstanding spots when I originally thought he was wrong but it turned out he was spot on. Second championship game for Gusman as he also worked the 2011 one.

I think Burks should have called RTP on 97 of Ohio State. He took a full step and drove Mariota into the ground.

First review was an easy reversal of a Mariota fumble which took way too long IMO. Scott Campbell almost got bull dozed, it would be good to see the umpire move behind the LOS. |
