Camping World Bowl- John O'Neill I can't recall the B1G assigning officials to two bowl games in one post season. Is O'Neil still in the running for the National Championship?

The Pac-12 gave Land Clark 2 bowl games in 2014 but that is the only instance I can recall. It will most likely be Capron or Cannon in the National Championship.

Would think this all but guarantees Capron will work the natty. My guess would be Jerry McGinn in the Taxslayer Bowl.

Cotton Bowl: David Smith
Nether Hubert Owens nor Matt Austin get the SEC Championship Game or a bowl game. That’s surprising.

I believe Hubert Owens was the alternate at the SEC Championship Game, so that may be why he didn't get a bowl game. I'm also surprised at Austin not getting a postseason game.

Matt Austin was assigned as the R for the Cotton Bowl with David Smith assigned as the AO. Mr. Austin must have either become sick or injured to not be working on the field. Have not seen his face yet but Mr. Austin is probably the AO for this game now.

Got a quick look at the AO in the Cotton Bowl. It is not Mr. Austin.

Does anyone know if the playoff and championship games have more than one alternate assigned?
