Cardinals player asks for time. Rob Drake doesn't grant it. Drake ejects the Cardinals skipper. The Cardinals have a reputation for doing this. Drake wasn't putting up with it and not putting up with Cardinals protests. www.mlb.com/video/shildt-ejected-in-the-4th-inning

As the score was 12-1 in the 8th and the Phillies were most-likely going to lose this one (which they did), this is one of those times I wish the pitcher would make a stand and just remain on the mound and say "Nah... I'm not leaving." What are they going to do? Forfeit the game to the Dodgers? At that point, I'm sure the Phillies would have been happy to hit the showers an inning early. Hell, even Justin Turner was arguing to keep Rios in the game. Eddings needs to be better than that. Players are getting tired of the ump show. I know I am.
