Bears-Dolphins from Miami. Leavy's crew on the call. What do/did you think of the crew? If you don't get NFLN on your TV I think you'll be able to see the game streamed on NFL.com.

The crew nailed Brandon Marshall for USC when he flipped a football to Jay Cutler after making a catch near the Bears' sideline.
Good call, IMO.

If you were watching online, was it me or were there waaaaaay more studio interruptions and waaaaaay less showing of live game action tonight? I kept yelling at the computer to get back to the game and quit yapping in studio!
From what I saw which was way less than I wanted to see, I'd give Leavy's crew an A. They seemed to run a good game tonight. It is always good to see Mark Baltz work a game.

I also give the crew an A for this game. At this point, I'll be shocked if they don't get a playoff assignment. Leavy could be a sleeper for the Super Bowl, too.

Because of all the acrimnony between the NFL and some of the cable networks, we understand you may not have NFL Network and hence can't watch the game on television. By design, NFL Network on its web site makes much of the game available but not the whole game if that's what one means by watching online. I also watched the game online but saw the whole game as there are several web sites around which can be found with a search that stream the game "illegally" from some international point outside the reach of US copyright law. I therefore was watching the ESPN America feed of the game; this is also available if you search long enough for those people unfairly deprived of Sunday Ticket by the NFL's insistance of only allowing the package to be available to directv and not the cable networks. Is it illegal? Probably on the part of the originator, yes. But that is up to the country of origin of the streaming to do something about. Are you doing something illegal in viewing a web site? No. It's not like the downloading of music a few years ago where the internet police could see the files on your computer. Once the game ends, and you leave the web site, the evidence you were viewing the web site is gone. I'll leave it at that because I don't want to get involved in an argument with people of how I am doing something illegal or encouraging others to do it. BTW, as far as the crew was concerned, it was an easy game to work, nothing all that controversial. A couple of close catch/no catches but they were dealt with correctly on IR. They seemed to have gotten all the holding calls that had to be made. As we well know, sometimes you get an easy game to work and come out looking fine which is what one would have to say about this game. Not a knock on the crew but you can't make controversy out of a game so one sided there was nothing controversial really to deal with!
