Well, we have a Wally Backman sighting. The former Met back in the 80s heyday is managing the South Georgia Peanuts down in the minors, and apparently isn't too happy with the umpiring (warning: lots of gratuitous profanity):
Video doesn't show call/calls that sent Wally over the edge. What is it with these minor league managers, is this a way to get people in the seats? Of course Backman was an MLB manager for about a day.

And you wonder why so many minor league umpires, good one, quit.
This was in a southern independent league that was poorly run and folded after one season.
Not impressed. That's minor league level tantruming. Plus, what a cynical bat toss. He's just flipping them out there casually for effect. A complete acting job.
WARNING! Vulgar language! Makes Earl Weaver and Bill Haller look like a debate society.

This is a few years old - the team hasn't EXISTED for 4 years....
This year Backman is the manager for the Mets AA club in Binghamton.

Shows how much I pay attention to the low minor leagues ;D Anyway, the umps in the video showed a lot of restraint when Backman went off. And I agree with FredFan also, a lot of this was just for show (see Philip Wellman a few years ago.) Now with Earl & Billy Martin you knew it wasn't all show.
