that's right, 1 per every 2 seconds, including a DQ on the Wolves' coach. Here's the clip if you haven't seen it on sportscenter. the amount of gel in his hair keeps Garnier and Suave in business.
Fun fact i didn't know, he is Joe Mauer's cousin.

I was not aware of the relationship between Joe and Ken Mauer. How ironic that this happened in Minnesota, where Joe Mauer is a folk hero.

WOW! That's a classic case of not backing down.

howard, Ken is also from St. Paul, and a grad of UMinn, no more accusing him of favoring his hometown team. and FF7, he definitely didn't back down, obviously we cannot hear was the Timberwolves coach says to him, but i tihnk he got a little trigger happy, and after 2 he couldnt stop. haha

Not sure if I've ever seen Techs thrown around that quickly in an NBA game. IMO, Mauer got a little to trigger happy and could have handled this a little better.

I wonder what Mindy Rudolph would have said about this ? I wish Mike Carey would have kept control of his game last Sunday the way Mauer did in his game.

I wonder if Mauer was sick of his hometown team playing so poorly for years LOL.

I like Mauer, but he lost a bit of control over this game. All these techs weren't warranted.

Kenny Mauer is a low key Ref on the floor who has made the Finals the past 5 or so years. He has raised his game and improved greatly the past few years, now one of the best..... This is uncharacteristic of him and sure it was warranted.

My understanding is that the NBE has a list of actions that are "almost automatic" technical fouls.
It's quite possible that a non-T call is a downgrade. Since Ken was likely the CC, it may ultimately fall upon him to understand these cases.

Ken was the Crew Chief and with the new Technical Rules instituted by The Commissioner this year he was placed in the position to call each and everyone.
