I wish Ted all the best . I can't even imagine doing what he's doing.

New joints make a difference, but it takes a lot of determination and hard work to get back functioning fully. I had it with two new hips, and they are a cake walk compared to the knees and the complexity of motion in that joint add to that the amount of rehab work needed to get back on your feet...I can't imagine Ted getting a bi-lateral replacement in one fell swoop. My doctor would do one joint at a time, but bi-lateral the way Ted did it...man that guys got guts and determination. I hope he can go another 5 years, as long as the rest of the body holds up. My hats off to a fellow Michigander.
