It's ridiculous that Steratore and Blakeman, good referees, get all these extra prime time games while Leavy doesn't get anything.

In 2010, Ed Hochuli did not have his first primetime game until very late in the season

In 2010, Ed Hochuli did not have his first primetime game until very late in the season exactly Also Ron Winter had four games that were national.

Don't know if this is the case, but remember that some referees may be flexed out of a SNF assignment. The matchups were NOT flexed out. They are great officials, but they need to stop assigning prime time games to the same officials.

Corrente in SF, so Carey off I think...
also, on a scale of 1-10, how bad is it that I was in my kitchen when Cheffers announced the first penalty and I knew by voice who it was? haha

They were showing the long shot of the opening kickoff formation. I heard the whistle blow. I turned to dad and said, "Gene Barth is the referee." He looked at me and said, "How do you know?" I replied, " That was a plastic whistle. Barth uses a plastic whistle and I also know how Barth blows the whistle for kickoffs." I was right. Dad didn't know whether to be amazed or worried! ;D
