Scott Green's crew on the call tonight.
What do/did you think of them?

Apparantly they have no idea how to keep a game from getting out of hand. All these scuffles keep slowing the game down.

Outstanding job by Green's crew so far. Despite what the announcers said, I thought Green was spot on with the RTP call. Even though there was some contact with the OL, it was clearly late, low, led with his helmet, and the contact was minimal so he had plenty of time to avoid the QB

The roughing call on Babin was very weak....the Bears lineman clearly pushed Babin in the middle of the back into Cutler. Gruden and Jaworski tried to be diplomatic about this crew. That aside and being said To me Green is still deer in the headlights, and hasn't changed since the fiasco with Winter in the SF-Giants pl;ayoff debacle several seasons ago. Overall given the flow of this game and how it's been officiated I'd say C- at best...I hope the second half improves, otherwise it's bed time after watching this paint dry game.

What was the fiasco in San Francisco? From his position under the goal posts trying to come in when the kick was aborted, the defender was between him and the dpi. You can't call what you can't see and the NFL never said he blew the call because he thought the Giant receiver was inelgible. Every time I hear tht malarkey I wonder if anybody ever reads the stuff out there on that.

Even though there was contact it was minimal and definitely not enough to force the pass rusher in any direction

I give Green's crew a 3.5 for tonight. I couple of bang-bang calls but most of the calls looked right. Tom Barnes, LJ55, missed a down by contact call that was actually a fumble, but it was properly overturned.
The officiating was not a factor in this game, and they did a good job.

Just curious what a crew has to do to get under a 3 since the worst scores anyone has given a crew this year is a 3

SJ Rose, left, and BJ Helverson, right both partially obscured work to unpile the players after a muffed punt.

OK so how do you get below a 2 then?

Have a game like Boger's crew in week 17 last year.

Can't post the photo here, but this link directs you to a very nice photo of Green's crew posing before the kickoff. cbsloc.al/t0ofGh
