Yeah, but they got it right. It appeared the shoulder came down just inbounds just as the reciever gained control of the ball.

Assuming ND versus SEC team in the National Championship game I wonder what conference would supply the officials. Obviously not the SEC but for ND that is more difficult because they tend to use both Big East and Big Ten officials for their games. Based on who has done it recently I would venture a guess for the Pac-12 and possibly Shawn Hochuli

The officials who worked these games last year were Rose - ACC - Allen Orange - B1G - Witvoet Sugar - PAC12 - Stricherz (it was a catch) Fiesta - SEC - Ritter NCG - Big 12 - Scott Novak

I actually think Hochuli is more likely to work the Pac 12 title game.

Personally think this is Hochuli's last season in the Pac-12.
If not next season, I predict he'll be in the NFL by 2015.

I am thinking his Age is keeping him from entering the NFL. Who was the youngest to officiating in the NFL @ any position Jim Tunney was 31. That's the youngest I can think of...... But that was back in the day when the NFL and AFL were competing so they needed officials, plus crews were expanding from five to six.
