From 1983. Tony Veteri, Jr., was quite young. Someone by the name of Tommy Miller worked as a NFL official before 1983. Is this the same person?
Good to see some old-school USFL officiating!

Think 4 of these 6 - Miller, Kramer, Wright and Veteri - worked in the NFL at some point.

Hi, there.
I'm the granddaughter of Tony Kramer and I'm looking for anyone and who might have any kind of information, anyone who knew him, or can help me find any footage of him, please! He died in '94. and I was born in '91 - I have no memories of him, and I know my Mother would love to see any footage that can be found.
Thank you all so much in advance.
Maggie

Your grandfather was a NFL official in the 1970s. #50 on his shirt.
Here's some video of him in action:

FredFan7,
I cannot begin to express to you how much these clips have meant to me and my family. We have zero footage of him - my grandmother got rid of all the tapes, I believe, when he died. She was mourning pretty heavily - she's still never remarried. I cannot thank you enough. Are there any other games you know him to have officiated? I don't want to cause you any inconvenience - I'm happy to do the heavy lifting and sort through things if you could even point me in the right direction.
It sounds dramatic, but when I showed my mom, she told me that I'd, "brought a man back from the dead."
Thank you, again, so very much, from the bottom of my heart. Maggie

Maggie Maggie, thanks for writing and for your moving words. Your grandfather worked in the NFL from 1975-1980 as an umpire wearing number 50 (in 1979 and 1980 he wore number 16 when the league assigned nnumbers 1-20 from each position). He played college football at Dayton in the early 50's.
