If past history is any indication, the OF umps from WC game won’t umpire anything further this postseason so there are still openings for West and Hernandez as you also have Game 7 plate umpire who works Games 1&2 in Chelsea

Torres, Lance Barrett, and Hamari are making their first postseason appearances, so they are ineligible for the LCS. Also, I'm sure the Braves and their fans are thrilled to have Sam Holbrook as Crew Chief for their series.

The affirm rate was high because, as we saw with HBP/Foul review, MLB has gotten too liberal with “Call Stands.” I am generally supportive of officials, but to use a football analogy it is like Bill Leavy letting stand the down by contact in the Giants/Packers divisional leading up to Super Bowl XLVI. Sure it is faintly possible that the situation called on the field might have somewhat happened because at one point you wish you had a better angle, but when everything you have suggests the opposite the lack of cameras everywhere should not be the difference maker in my opinion.

I agree with you in general that there are a number of calls that stood that should have been overturned throughout the season. However, I believe both calls that stood Yesterday were appropriate upholds.
