This has been a rough couple of drives for Blakeman’s crew

It disgusts me that every time that the Lions play the Packers, clear and obvious mistakes were made in favour of the Packers. EVERY SINGLE TIME remember the phantom facemask call made by Cheffers that led to the Hail Mary? Missed PI call against Packers by Buchanan.

He missed it again on Lion with a phantom illegal use of hands.

I'm no Lions fan, but man, there were two BS hands to the face calls, the missed PI call, and the Walker helmet to helmet call. The refs cost the Lions the game....for sure. Pitiful!

John Parry: "Just a tough miss". Well this miss cost a team the game and it is inexcusable. Just as bad as the non-DPI no call. This is starting to become a nightmare for the NFL.

Jeff Rice has been around too long to miss that the hand never left chest/shoulder

Officiating should not decide the game like this. I’m normally one to defend the crew but this was inexcusable.

It is perhaps not the popular opinion, but I do wonder how many game-changing bad calls go against teams with national followings or future HOF quarterbacks like the Packers, Steelers, Patriots, Cowboys, Broncos, etc.
As a fan of a lesser team (not Detroit), it seems like these teams get the short end of the stick continuously.

This was about as poorly an Officiated game as you will see. Jeff Rice and Jimmy Buchanan really had rough games with Rice incorrectly calling two hands to the face calls and Buchanan no called a DPI against the Packers which should have been called and also called a bad Helmet to Helmet call. Of course the Lions could have challenged to try and get DPI called but we all know it wouldn't have been overturned. 3 of these penalties directly led to 13 Packers points just a few plays later. I am sorry but that is unacceptable.

This is exactly what I am wondering. I hate to think like this as a new official but the Lions and Broncos (this season with RTP) keep on getting screwed with marginal or bad calls.
