Schuster, McKinnely, Dyer, Larrew, Zimmer have retired. Not all willingly. Four replay officials retired, including Jim Lapetina who left before the 2019 season began. I'm hearing that Earnie Frantz is returning in some capacity, but not as RO.
Zero swing officials this year.
3 new replay assistants in the command center.

I noticed Sarah Thomas has moved crews again. This time to a more high profile crew of Vinovich.
Also, wasn't replay official Kevin Stine a referee from the SEC/Sunbelt- or another Div 1 conference. Is he no longer there?

I am thinking McKinnley and Dyer didn't have a choice in the matter. Schsuter might have been eased out as he has missed the playoffs each of the last 2 seasons. Zimmer and Larrew probably retired on their own.

Is he no longer there? Stine was a Sun Belt Referee through 2017. I believe he was a Replay Assistant in the NFL the last 2 seasons. Also noticed Randy Campbell is a Replay Assistant. Assuming that is the same CJ from the Pac-12 it looks like the Pac-12 is in need of another CJ.

Has there ever been a crew with over 100 years of experience before Corrente's crew this year?

Has there ever been a crew with over 100 years of experience before Corrente's crew this year? Walt Anderson late in his career had some really veteran crews especially when he had Jeff Rice as his U, Byron Boston at LJ, and Rick Patterson at SJ. I get that with the offseason in flux the NFL did not want to have a lot of drastic upheaval of crews, but you look at a crew like Cheffers which is rather inexperienced compared to someone like Blakeman. Simply putting Jones on Blakeman's crew and Gautreaux on Cheffers would have changed things. Was it someone's sense of humor to put all 3 Cal-Fullerton alums on the same crew?

Has there ever been a crew with over 100 years of experience before Corrente's crew this year? Well, I looked at last year's crews and 2 had 100+ years experience but all those officials had 11 or more years with the NFL. Corrente's crew this year has a rookie.

Remember there was a retirement incentive for all officials with 20+ years of experience. Schuster may have taken the incentive.
Frankly, I'm surprised that more officials didn't take the incentive, although I'm glad they didn't.
And yes he had esophageal cancer around five years ago. On social media, it shows he took a job as a college player scout in January.

Is he no longer there? Hussey not Vinovich. Allen Baynes was one of the better FJ with all of the retirements yet they moved him to SJ. I am sorry, but if Thomas is still requiring protection on her side of the field with her seniority she has no business being in the NFL.

How do we know it wasn’t political? Patrick Holt has 2 years experience yet has a 3 year SJ. David Oliver has 4 years experience yet his SJ has a very inconsistent playoff history. Ditto Mike Carr.

Welp, all the work for a "never mind."
If we know crews, we'll share them. But, to be honest, the crews might switch from week to week, depending on COVID exposures, etc.
