Also want to mention that the crew for the West Play-In was James Capers, Pat Fraher, Tony Brown with James Williams as the alternate and Scott Wall as the Replay Official. It was technically a regular season game but it was still playoff like.

David Guthrie is the CC on a crew that also includes Ed Malloy for one of today's games.

Lots of changes to playoff staff. Does anyone have their own NBA referee rankings and/or predictions for the second round staff. Would love to see them

anyone have conf. finals predictions? Here are my predictions. I think they are going to go with 18 on the court rather than 20 this season as the first two rounds have had fewer Officials than usual and I doubt they'd only eliminate 4 Officials after 1 round. Foster, Davis, Capers, Zarba, Goble, Fitzgerald, Brothers, Guthrie, Malloy, Lewis, Wright, Tiven, Fraher, Mott, Scott, Kennedy, Corbin, MaddoxI have Kennedy and Corbin returning to the Conference Finals while Maddox is a newcomer and Brown moves down a round from last season. Maddox seems like a very likely candidate to work the Conference Finals as he was on the court for a Game 6 and an alternate for a Game 7 in the Second Round. I would say Malloy and Fraher are not locks to make it either. Both Officials only worked 2 games in the Second Round while many worked 3. However I do ultimately think they make it as we have seen before with guys like Brothers and Washington that even if they didn't work a ton of games in a round they usually move on. It was between Brown and Corbin for my last pick an I ultimately went with Corbin due to him being an alternate in a Game 6 and Brown not being seen after a Game 4. Wouldn't be surprised to see either or even both work the Conference Finals. Kirkland is another possibility as he worked a Game 5 but I think he just misses as well.
