On Sundays Giants versus Seahawks game.
McCoy threw to Engram, the ball went off his hands, and was intercepted.
The play clock was at zero before the snap.
Now...
Judge can't challenge because it is a clock challenge, I believe.
The result of the play was a turnover however, which is reviewed.
So, if the referee misses the expired play clock, the result of the play causes a review, can the back judge, or someone, then negate the play due to the late snap?
Or is the review of a late snap completely off of the table, not reviewable, challengable, and correctable?
I've went and downloaded the playbook and did just enough reading to get even more confused.
I asked around on Twitter but no answer yet.
So now I'm here, hello.
Could someone please explain this to me?

Whether clock hit zero before the snap is not reviewable

OK, so that is what I understood going into this. I just didn't know if the play being reviewed anyway changed this.
So any mistakes in the timing of the play clock will never be fixed, and it doesn't matter even if the error becomes apparent later.
At least that is what I am leaving here thinking.
Thank you sir.
Most kind.

Most kind. Short answer is yes in the sense that league won’t unring the proverbial bell even on replay. However, clearly botched play clocks (see FF7’s post), loss of track of downs, or some other major administrative error appears to count as a more serious ding than an ordinary penalty call/non-call when it comes to playoff assignments. By clearly botched it isn’t that it just hit zero, but rather more like 5-10 seconds where it is at zero and no flag.
