Interesting fact. If Min/Cin had finished in a tie, it would have been the 5th time Jim Quirk Jr. worked a tie game. Is that a record for most tie games worked by an official since OT came in 1974. Would that be a record for most ties worked by an official since OT began in 1974?

As I am watching this MNF game between Raiders/Ravens, I got to wondering, in order to avoid bad optics, where do ya suppose the officials are staying? I've only been to Vegas a handful of times. But I can't remember any hotel not having a casino.

Let's just say that it is a luxury hotel in the outskirts of the city in nearby Henderson. There's table games and a sportsbook there, and probably several watchful eyes. I wouldn't doubt if they give the headshots to at least the sportsbook. Everyone's going to be aboveboard, because there has to be immense scrutiny that just doesn't make the risk worth the reward.
