When watching the game, I thought it was a safety. But looking at the replay, it clearly deflected off the Texas guys helmet. Still, this is being talked about. Thoughts?? I think they got it right, although I feel bad for Campbell, he had a rough game.

I had safety - intentional grounding in the end zone.
This may have been the most poorly administered FCS game ever.

I’ve never heard a referee say that a foul was “described incorrectly” to him. Was Scott saving face by throwing his CJ under the bus? What an odd announcement.

I don't know if he intended to throw his CJ under the bus, but it kinda sounded that way. Then again, the CJ did deserve a little ribbing for throwing a flag on that one. As for IG, Alabama would make the argument that had the pass not been deflected it would have gotten close to an eligible receiver (#2).
