Congrats to all 4 on these assignments. First ever Divisional Assignments for Kemp either as Referee or SJ. Thinking this likely means Blakeman and Smith for the CC and either Vinovich or Hochuli for the Super Bowl although we will have a better idea once the alternates for this week are announced.

The Divisional alternates are Torbert, Cheffers, Rogers, and Wrolstad

Tra Blake with no appointments at all. To be fair my weakest referee too. I got 3/4. I had Smith instead of Hussey. So I will take Smith and Blakeman and for the CC and Vinovich for the SB. Can not see Hochuli with a SB this year. I do not remember seeing Vinovich getting a big or medium call wrong all season. Can not say the same for Hochuli.

Vinovich had a clock gaffe earlier this season. I am a bit surprised that the NFL is giving Shawn Hochuli the KC@BUF playoff game especially after he, rightfully IMHO, took a lot of questions regarding the performance during the Eagles/Bills game earlier this year.

Based on these crews it seems like the R/U, DJ/SJ and LJ/FJ pairings being the same in the second round and Super Bowl are not a thing anymore. Because most of these pairings wouldn't work together for the Super Bowl. Based on the criteria it seems like Brad Freeman and Tom Hill are almost certain to be working the Super Bowl at their positions. The other positions are down to 2.
It also appears like we are back to the Mike Peraira days and the 10 Referees that are confirmed working so far really do have the top 10 crews as every single one of them had at least 2 of their crewmates working with them. I wonder if that also means we will be getting some Officials from the Wild Card working the Super Bowl. I still doubt it but maybe Ben can shed some light on that.
Congrats to all of the first time Divisional officials and there are quite a few. Kemp, Moore, Morton, Holt, LeBlanc, Gallagher, Edwards, Blubaugh, Flemming. Moore and Morton get the Divisional in their first year eligible! Part of that I think is they wanted to keep the Young U's with their Referee. 9 0f the 10 second year Officials got a playoff assignment which is extremely impressive. I always thought 2022 was a really good hiring class, much better than this year if we are being honest, and that seems to be true.

It’s funny they didn’t decide to keep Hussey’s crew fully intact. Could be a logistics thing too with travel.

Hill has made great strides, but I don't think he's ready for the Super Bowl. It would be a huge (and pleasant) shock if true.

Oh. That makes more sense. Hill is my pick for the Super Bowl. No inside info, but my guess. That would be the second straight year an official's retirement game is the Super Bowl.

I don't mean this as a jerk, but is Hussey eligible for the SB? He seems to get a lot of "big" games, so I wouldn't be surprised if he gets THE Big Game. Also, I would like to see Killens at U for the SB...for the reason, look up Lou Palazzi :-)
