Larry Vanover is 69 years old and so is Phil Cuzzi. Oldest umpire I remember is Bruce Froemming at 68. Bill Klemm was 67. MLB required the umpires to retire between 55-60 for many years. I believe Vanover and Cuzzi are the oldest-ever MLB umpires, and if Cuzzi comes back next year, he might be the first umpire to call games at age 70.
