The current rule, minus booth reviews, allows 2 challenges per game and a 3rd if they are right both times. I think there should be more coaches challenges allowed per game as there have been several times where both correct challenges were burned early.
What do you think?

Good segment going on right now on NBC.
I would compromise this way. All scoring plays are subject to booth review. In other words, the replay official would buzz for a replay so coaches don't have to throw the red flag on a TD or safety or field goal.
Leave the challenges at two per team (for catch-no catch, down by contact, 12 men on the field, etc.) and make all goal-line scoring plays subject to a booth review.
All replays would be initiated by the booth under two minutes like usual.

I have always felt that outside of the final two minutes and during overtime, they should be allowed to challenge as long as they have timeouts remaining.

I agree with melkaman8200. If you've got timeouts remaining, you may challenge - except during the final 2 minutes of either half and any OT.

agreed if you have timeouts remaining but that still does get to the heart of the issue that if the officials are having an unbelievably bad day not all of the bad calls will be reversed. If there is a close play but a team only has one timeout left they might not challenge and risk losing their last timeout even if review shows they will ultimately prevail. For example if a 3rd down play is called just short of the first down marker by inches as a team is attempting to drive with just over 2 minutes left and it is not clear with one shot but if you splice the video together you see that the ball did cross the line to gain may not be challenged. However I think it might be better to scrap the coach's challenge system and do everything from the booth. If anything the challenge process may go faster because the replay assistant and video operator can communicate before the referee is buzzed for which footage will be needed and that can all be set up while the referee is making the announcement and walking over
