A very good piece from someone emminently qualified to speak on these issues. I'm almost scared to see when things ramp up for real, what's going to happen starting tonight and will Lord Roger be standing with egg on his face? I hope he will come to his senses, if that's at all possible. My rant for today, Thanks for the piece Becky.... Or the officials will come to their senses and realize that they are not bigger than the game and if they do not like that they will have to accept 401(k) rather than a defined benefit pension like those in America who are lucky to even have that option while still being paid more on a yearly basis than most of this country makes all while still being allowed to hold another job they can resign. I am sure there are plenty of people who would be lining up for a contract equivalent to what the NFL is proposing

mike i agree. it's time for the officials to realize the game has and will go on without them. remember the players strike in 87 caused fracturing among that union and this lockout will as well. not every official agrees with green on all issues.

Peter King just said... Scott Green said... the NFLRA is stronger than ever and United.....

dont expect this lockout to end anytime soon. better prepare for the super bowl with replacements. then again maybe there will be replacement teams this year like the rams and the chiefs in the game.
