I'd blast the fake officials if they screwed up a game. NFL claims these phony D-2 and D-3 officials are just as good as the real ones. That is like saying walmart has the same great styles as rodeo drive.

Do you really think the NFL would publicly say that the replacement officials are crap? However, the article does make a good point that the NFLRA should be careful about overdoing it because of the bad PR when people do the same to the regular officials. If anything the negative press would be amplified if an official has an off day like Bill Leavy in the Divisional Round last year
