Former NBA referee and current Pac-12 Supervisor of Officials Eddie Rush under investigation for allegedly asking officials to target Arizona coach Sean Miller www.cbssports.com/collegebasketball/blog/eye-on-college-basketball/21989633Miller was hit with a crucial and very dubious technical in the Wildcats' Pac-12 tournament semifinal loss to UCLA. The story alleges that Rush offered a trip to Cancun for any official who T'd up Miller.

If it was a joke, it was in poor taste.
If he meant it, it is an ethical violation and a terminable offense.

On PTI last night, Mike claimed that Ed invoked Mendy Rudolph saying, "what happens among the refs stays among the refs." For my money, anything not foreseen by the rules (e.g. Supervisor's deciding what calls should/should not be made) is fair game for public knowledge and review.
