R7 Bell U12 Burk? I always thought he worked deep wing... HL30 Murphy LJ40 Haggerty in his second season BJ25 Kelleher FJ34 Graf
All is these officials had less than 10 years of experience and were destined awesome NFL careers.
Note in the second half that Graf wasn't on the field. Kelleher was flying all over the secondary. I guess Graf he was ill or injured.
Those are ANCIENT mechanics. We wouldn't do that in HS today.
PS -- Tuck those flags in! It's a wonder the umpire's flag stayed in his pocket!

Is this Burk "Adrian?" He doesn't seem to resemble him. Norm Schacter in his book tells a story about Adrian that suggests he didn't always have his head in the game. However, it's always possible he was a substitute umpire for the day.
