Have we heard anything official about Dana DeMuth's status this season?

Gibson did not work the nightcap and was replaced by Brian Gorman, while Adrian Johnson, Jeremie Rehak and Chad Whitson worked both games at Wrigley yesterday. Is there a precedent for this, since Tripp got three Dodgers yesterday?

Gibson did not work the nightcap and was replaced by Brian Gorman, while Adrian Johnson, Jeremie Rehak and Chad Whitson worked both games at Wrigley yesterday. Is there a precedent for this, since Tripp got three Dodgers yesterday? Yes. When there are double headers scheduled a AAA call up works the twin bill. The plate umpire for game two does not work game one. The game one plate umpire does not work game two. Basically the plate umpires for the double header only work one game - their plate assignment. It is just an unhappy coincidence that Gibson ejected three in game one but didn't work game 2.
