Despite some declining years, Anderson having a strong presence in the divisional round here. A hard worker who is very dedicated to his craft. Hopefully this is not the last game we see of him.
Excellent mechanics by the front four officials on this play. Down judge Sarah Thomas declares fourth down, and the 49ers rush to the line looking to catch the Vikings flat-footed or with too many men on the field.
The 49ers tried their best to draw the Vikings offside, but took the delay of game penalty.
Thomas, umpire Tony Michalek, referee Walt Anderson and line judge Mark Perlman quickly got into pre-snap position in case the 49ers snapped the ball. They then had to concentrate as the 49ers were twitchy, trying to draw a defensive penallty.

Good game all around, and one of the best from Walt A. that I recall in quite some time. No major difficult/controversial plays, but they were on top of things all the way and kept the game moving at the pace dictated by the players.
This game was decided late in the third quarter, so plays and calls did not go under the microscope.
Nevertheless, Walt Anderson and his crew did an excellent job calling the game.
Congratulations to Mearl Robinson for working his first playoff game on the field.
Say what you want about Sarah Thomas (and many have), but she belongs in the NFL. She had to make accurate calls to merit this playoff assignment, and her mechanics are solid.
Only six fouls, and I don't recall any glaring fouls that went uncalled. There was a close fumble call that the officials properly let go and ruled fumble and defensive recovery. Replay reversed the call to down by contact. The system worked on that play.
Are there any Super Bowl officials that worked this game? Did any officials work their last game? Only time will tell, but the crew can walk off the field proud of their effort.
