The Metrodome holds about 65,000 for football, and TCF Bank Stadium holds just over 50,000. So, if the game is moved to the outdoor stadium, you're looking at 15,000 people (several of which are probably season ticket holders) not having anywhere to sit...
The league will probably move it to Detroit, St. Louis, or Indy.

Plus.... Giants have no Cold Weather Gear.. Oh yeah, what about the officials? Remember Jerry Markbriet's Tommy Bell story?

I would assume Triplette crew will still do game. They could ride with the Vikings to Detroit.
Modifying a line from the late Jimmy The Greek: God must be a Brett Favre fan. If he can't play, the Vikes shall not play...

With the weather now setting in here in Michigan, tomorrow could be an adventure for the teams and officials here. The weather in the S.W. portion is deteriorating as I speak, wind, snow poor visibility. My sin on the East side of the state in St. Clair area says they have 6" already and it getting very nasty. Hold on to your hats in Michigan. Chicago is 21 degrees and a -4 wind chill and winds approaching 50 mph according to some sources around here. Bears and Pats should enjoy this one too.

I'm just thankful that no one was in the stadium when that happened. Didn't this happen to the Metrodome before?

I'm just thankful that no one was in the stadium when that happened. Didn't this happen to the Metrodome before? The roof has deflated 4 other times in 1981, 1982, 1983, and 1986. I hope they replace this stadium. Teflon roofs and the climate in Minnesota don't play well together.

The only thing that can hold it up is Brett Favre's ego.

I know the Vikings have been pushing for a new stadium for years, and are even considering that the new stadium could be open-air. Whatever they do, let's hope they at least have a better name than "Mall of America Field at Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome."
