did anyone notice when McAulay made his first call, they had a statistic for him... It said: "8 playoff assignments since 2002- most in that time span" glad to see NBC caring about the referees stats too.

This is essentially the same group that produced Monday Night Football on ABC. They would occasionally throw in a stat about that night's referee. I agree that it is a very nice touch.

Walt Anderson is up there as well and I am not sure when the last time he missed a postseason when he has been eligible to work is

Anderson is the only ref to have his crew working in the playoffs every year since the all star crews in the early rounds were done away with in 2003.
