What do/did you think of the crew on the Texans-Ravens game?
Also, if you happen to see it, what did you think of Triplette's crew on the Giants-Vikings game?

In the NYG V MIN game Brett Favre's streak comes to an end. He is inactive with an injury.

Nice review by Triplette. The ruling was that the NYG runner was down short of the goal line and replay showed when his elbow hit the ball had not crossed the line.

The Giants-Vikings game didn't have much rhythm in the 1st half. Lots of false starts, offsides, etc.
Crew has looked good so far. Triplette had a couple of tough reviews, but he got them both right.

U76 Jenkins is showing nice hustle. Always nice to see one of my favorite HLs, Mark Baltz.

Pulled up lame with a calf injury. I think triplette messed up with the fumble. Since coughlin does not like to run up the score he did not challenge

Very rough night for Triplette's crew. Bergman went off on an apparent calf injury while he was marking a spot, and Triplette and his U miss a pretty obvious safety call that was called incorrect by Pereira. He's also had a lot of miscues on the mic tonight.

I'm wondering if something happened that rattled Triplette somewhere along the line. He's one of my favorites and it looks like he's imploding this year. Poor guy, I feel real bad for him.
He was physically attacked on the field, he led men into combat and was, in his day job, responsible for the security of nuclear power plants after 9/11, so you'd think he could handle anything you can throw at him, so I'm guessing that there was an incident, maybe not even an NFL incident, that got into his head and now he thinks he's out of the playoffs and there won't be a season next year, and on top of all that is the stress of getting to the game this week and living in the back of his mind "what if" they had been inside the Metrodome when it went.
At any rate, keep up hope for him, you never know how things will swing. We've been surprised before by who gets the playoffs.

No offense, but Triplette has as much of a chance at making the playoffs as Carolina, and they have no offense.

There were three teams on the field in Detroit tonight, and none of them looked very good. It was a brutal game to watch.
The crew made the correct ruling on an odd kick-catching interference call, but other than that, ii was a rough night for them. They missed an obvious ineligible man downfield call in the 3rd quarter, and missed an obvious safety call in the 4th quarter.
Triplette was one of the best referees in the game a few years ago, but since then, he has regressed greatly. I hate to say it, but I think his poor performance has really drug his crews down over the last 2 seasons.
Melkaman, I agree that something must have happened to him that is making his performance suffer. I've also noticed that he's been having a hard time moving around on the field over the last two years, so maybe it's something mental and physical.

Barry Anderson with a great out of bounds call wiping out a Houston TD catch. The call was confirmed by Leavy. All members of the crew are working well.
