Not yet, Damon. I don't know if we ever will - no conspiracy, just the cameras weren't trained on the crew at that moment.

Does anyone have video of this? Hi Damon, NO!.... & NO pics... I taped the game last night, but the NBC crew was only showing replay of the hit & than they had R-85 Ed Hochuli on his Mic explaining the Foul/Penalty. I think it is False reporting on the Belicheat Patriots part... like I said earlier... cause they were getting beat by a 2nd string QB on the Green Bay Packers Team. I have the past 3yrs of Ed Hochuli games taped & have been watching him and his crews since 1994 & he never looks over or up @ Video boards. Becky

Curious..... if Mike Pereira chat will be on FOXSPORTS.com tomorrow Maybe someone can ask Mike bout the Officials and how often do they look at the Video Boards. Remember there are NFL Official observers watching from the sidelines. Becky

In my opinion, Ed is still a very, very competent NFL Referee. However, I also feel his best days are behind him.

Ed's best days are in fact behind him. He was a leader in his job for 20 years, and mostly likely in the top 5 in NFL Referees of all time.
Steratore, Parry, and Blakeman are going to raise the bar even higher, I think.

Steratore, Parry, and Blakeman are going to raise the bar even higher, I think. agree. i have seen blakeman 3 or 4 times, and he is fantastic, and I've always been a fan of steratore and parry. all 3 are the best young guys out there.

Becky It seems to me that you like to rip on Belichick as much as others like to rip on Hochuli. I believe both are in a class of there own; neither has a contemporary who rivals them. I agree with you in that it is "false reporting", or more accurately put, it is "opinion" rather than a report, which I believe is originally from Mike Reiss, a blogger from espnboston.com. He is a longtime Patriot beat-blogger from the Boston Globe (please note: I call him, as well as many, a blogger because he writes mostly opinion not factual information, especially after games). I do not agree with you about your excuse. I do not think Belichick or any great football mind would create a silly excuse due to the performance of a 2nd string player - these men are professionals, for example, Belichick won a Super Bowl with a 2nd stringer - his name is Tom Brady. This is all silly! Jumbotrons are installed for eyeballs, like a lightbulb for a moth; let's not judge Hochuli or anyone for wondering eyeballs.

Good post, hank regarding the blogging and opinion of this report instead of hard news. This story has not gained any traction beyond the bloggers, thus I think we're done here. Closed.

Agreed. If we can't substantiate any claims, it's hard to move forward with this. It's speculation at this point.
