Riveron has NE in BUF and all seems to be run of the mill so far.

Great reversal by Riveron on a Pats challenge of a fumble. Spiller clearly dropped the ball before hitting the ground, and the Patriots clearly recovered.

Triplette's crew had a rough game tonight. I agreed with the USC flag on Marion Barber for taking his helmet off in the field of play, but most of their other calls were marginal at best. The crew did their best to make the game about themselves, and it wasn't the first time it happened this year. I'd be really surprised if we saw anyone from this crew in the playoffs at this point. The DPI call against Arizona on the Cowboys' last drive was marginal at best, and the USC flag against Arizona after the game-winning field goal was ridiculous. You can't pin everything on Triplette, but his crews have done a really poor job over the last few seasons. Jeff Bergman tweaked a leg muscle a week or so ago and had to leave the game. Was he working last night?

Because Coughlin was out of challenges he could not challenge the obvious second foot not landing in bounds

The first time was on a SF challenge where the STL player clearly stepped out at the 3 and a half yard line. I remember this because "The Goose" was talking to MP about his clothes while he was trying to explain the play. The second time was in GB where NYG challenged the Brandon Jacobs fumble.

Anderson's crew gets a "B" for the Giants-Packers game. They missed the fumble by Nicks on the kickoff (even though it was overturned), and 2 officials missed seeing that the GB defender was out of bounds on an interception in the 4th quarter. The OPI call on Hakeem Nicks was marginal, too.

In the Arizona/Dallas game there was a play on which a flag was thrown hitting QB McGee of Dallas in the face. The flag went through is face mask. Fortunately McGee wasn't hurt. It reminded me of the incident several years ago involving Orlando Brown since that also involved Triplettes crew
