Curious as to how old he is... the ESPN name tag thing said he has been a referee for 38 years...

My guess he has not been a Big 10 official for 38 years. My guess is that he got his start in Division III in his mid to late 20s, mid major by 30, Big 10 by 40. My guess is that he's 65ish.

yeah. i assumed his first game was 38 years ago, he has been big 10 for like 15 i think they said. he just looks really aged.

Im suprised he wasnt considered for the NFL or he probably declined it?

Don't know. Some people peak at the NCAA level, or maybe Lemonnier had his goal of being a Big 10 referee and that's it.
