Syracuse scores TD, extra point is clearly missed as the PAT was shanked, replay still called it good. Big Least officials have missed a lot of calls in this game.
To the official who called it good, when the ball does NOT disappear behind the goal post, it is an UNsuccessful try.

Terry McAulay has issued the following statement, as coordinator of Big East officiating: Maybe McAulay's statement should have read: "We are confident that these two members of our officiating staff will be successful in all future endeavors." Or, if these guys worked for my boss, they might hear the phrase: "How long have you been with the company... not counting tomorrow?" ;D

I think they should have awarded the game to Toledo. TU made a field goal that would have given them a 30-29 win.

They will not change game outcomes based on judgement calls. It is a shame that happened.

Once again proving my dislike for McAulay. Ever since bottlegate, I have not liked him and have tried to but the way he talks and acts is something I cant get over.

They will not change game outcomes based on judgement calls. It is a shame that happened. It's not a judgement call. It's either it went between the goal posts or not.

They will not change game outcomes based on judgement calls. It is a shame that happened. It's not a judgement call. It's either it went between the goal posts or not. And in the judgement of the officials, the ball passed through the uprights. In the judgement of the instant replay official, the play also stood. Just like it's a judgement call when the official thinks a player is down, caught the ball, or broke the plane of the goal line.
