Don't see any head scratchers in those assignments.

nor do I, personally I had Demuth, Rapuano, Runge, Diaz and Bell instead of Darling, Winters, Holbrook, Miller and Timmons. But I cannot complain about any of these assignments.

Two solid crews. All 12 are very deserving.

These guys seemed to raise to the top of their class this season. I don't remeber any of them being confronational or causing a lot of problems to have their 15 seconds of fame. It will be interesting to see which (6) guys will get the final series. Unlike the NFL. I don't think any guys who worked earlier series are repeats in the World Series, so it will be interesting to see who's on the top of the list this season.

World Series umpires are always chosen from the pool of umpires who worked the division series.
