This is footage from the first ever game in Florida Marlins franchise history. It is a New York Penn-League game from 1992 between the Jamestown Expos and the Erie Sailors. The Umpires are Dan Iassogna and Jim Reynolds. They don't really do anything in the video but it is still cool to see the stat of these guys careers. It is funny how miserably wrong they spell Iassogna's name, that's what happens in the Lower Minor Leagues. At the time Reynolds was 23 years old and Iassogna was either 23 or 22. The Gameplay doesn't start until about 5 minutes in.
Also, the starting pitcher for Erie...Former NFL Safety John Lynch!
