Randy Marsh was a good one....Had a small and consistant strike zone.
I agree with him his defining moment was the Sid Bream game. I felt his stepping up and doing the job in that game elevated him to the elite of the NL Umpires. Working Home Plate in a Game 7 is difficult, however, he excelled with no preparation.
