Happy Thanksgiving! While you are fighting the effects of tryptophan, be sure to post your observations of the officiating crews working the three games.
Have a great and fun day! Be thankful that we have so much in this country that we have time to discuss fun and games and not fight for our lives and wonder where our next meal is coming from.

GB/DET
Multiple plays with multiple flags for the same thing. Looks like this crew in on!

Two DET players were annoying the GB gunner #22 Pat Lee. Lee didn't like it much at the end of the play and punched a DET player in the facemask.
LJ 84, I think it was, reported to McAuley that Lee DQ'd himself.

Boy, I just excuse myself from the table and turn it on with under a minute in the half.
Just in time to see Mark Steinkirchner kick GB#22 out of the ball game.
Looks like a punch that connects is a DQ these days.

And I agree with a punch that connects should be a DQ.

McAulay and crew have missed so many calls and offered no explanation on some of the penalties they have called. When I think it's 1st and 10 it turns out to be 2nd and whatever. Joe Buck and CBS compound the problems.

Around half time one of the commentators noted the Detroit coach knew this crew was flag happy and the players haven't adjusted. The GB coach also mentioned the officiating.
I haven't been watchng the game that closely so am in no position to comment but it is making the game almost unwatchable.

Another DQ in Detroit as Ndamukong Suh got the boot for stomping an opponent.
This game is getting out of hand.

This crew must be calling what Goodell wants..it's sure been one sided. The PI on Det#33 was weak, if you look at the play they both had hold of the jersey. The DQ was there, suprised it was called. Crew rating d-. their ticky tack flags have ruined the flow of the game

This is brutal - some of the flags may be over the top, but, blame both teams also for turning this into a circus...

Yellow rain in Detroit. That ejection of Suh was called for 100% idiotic play. They seem to have missed a bunch and called a ton of questionable penalties. Don't think it is all againts Detriot, but it seems this crew wants to be seen...

I don't think anybody can say there is any degree of consistancy among the NFL officiating crews this season. Some crews just come out and call every last ticky tack foul and even imaginary ones' others let the players play the game and only call the ones that just have to be called. That will always be there of course due to the nature of the sport but I think it has gotten worse and is not a good reflection on the officiating department.

For a big national game that was going to have all eyes on it, I don't think this is a good reflection of officiating in the NFL. Yes Suh should have been ejected, but all those penalties in the first half were to much...

The number of penalties is the players fault Never the officials.
