In Milwaukee. O'Donnell (still moonlighting as an American League umpire in the spring and summer) works with Mendy Rudolph. O'Donnell throws up the opening tap. bit.ly/tghmRRIncidentally, I believe this was the time Jackson was in Milwaukee to do this broadcast, where he was called at his hotel by a member of the media asking him to comment about Frank Gifford being hired to replace him as announcer of MNF for 1971. This (allegedly) is how Jackson found out he was replaced. His first interaction with Roone Arledge was priceless!
