Non-typical referee grading system

A little help in clarifying:

Is the grading of white hats for the referees who substituted for Green and Corrente this season follow the same protocol as past seasons?

Does the NFL officiating office have any exceptions?

And, will missing multiple games effect Green and Corrente's grading since they won't log the typical 15 game season?

As I complete my grades, I have found that I do not score/grade the "sub" white hats, but only the crew (including individual members), I then the grade I give the crew I allot to either Green or Corrente.

Any other suggestions/ideas?

Officials are graded on every regular season game they work.

Neil Gereb (U50 in the 80s and 90s) said one year he worked into November with just one ding and was feeling like this was his year for the Super Bowl. He worked a Thanksgiving game, and then subbed for an injured umpire on MNF, and got two dings in one game. He went from Super Bowl to Divisional and SB alternate.

Quite frankly, I don't know if if there is a minimum amount of games that have to be worked to qualify for the playoffs.

In 1991, umpire Rex Stuart missed half the season and only got as an alternate for a Divisional Playoff game. That same season, SJ Doug Toole was a swing official, he only worked 8 or 9 games at the most, and got the AFC Conference Championship game.

The playoff assignments are mostly weighted by the officials "grades" (actual game accuracy and written test scores). However, there are a few intangible categories, such as decisiveness and professionalism that also are factored in. I am sure there is an unspoken consideration for injuries, such that a referee with an injury in the last month of the season might be reassigned, just to make sure the most physically fit of the top officials are at the Super Bowl. I'm sure the number of games officiated is also factored in, but an injury that sidelines an official in Weeks 2 and 3 is not equivalent to an injury in Weeks 14 and 15, fair or not.
