Mike Pereira said on twitter that Corrente's umpire has been under the weather and that is why Chad Brown is filling in.
Here is the tweet: "Tony's regular umpire is under the weather. He was replaced by Chad Brown for this game."

Great fumble call as the ball was starting to come out prior to Brees' arm going forward.
However, may have to ding the LJ for the quick whistle negating a possible return.

Thought the flag for hit on a defenseless receiver was marginal even though hand slapped helmet

Can't see Brown in any of the replays.

Pereira tweet: That whole fumble forward pass play from the second quarter is the most confusing play of the year. Bottom line, Detriot got the ball...Giving Detroit the ball was the fair thing to do but the whislte took away any advance and that couldn't be fixed.Had the other official had not blown his whistle, it would have been a pretty straight forward play. Saint would have challenged that he was a pass but the play would have been upheld. Detroit got the ball, Corrente ruled quickly and firmly, adn the call was correct; they just looked like excrement in the process of getting it right.

Overall I give the crew a 3.0. Inadvertent whistle, some poor spots, lack of holding calls against New Orleans OL

That Stafford TD review was SO close. Great call by McGrath.

I noticed McAulay on the sideline tonight wearing knickers and a blue pull over. First I've ever seen of that.

Corrente 3.9 Brown 3.8 McGrath 3.8 Lewis 1.5 (inadvertent whistle on Brees pass/fumble) Cavaletto 3.8 Baynes 3.8 Wilson 3.7
Crew 3.471
They had just as good of a game as Blakeman's crew save for that one stinky inadvertent whistle.
