Interesting analysis. The league will never admit it, but it is quite obvious in some cases. Although I have to mentally back up to 3 years ago, all of them except a few (Tuck Rule, Bottlegate) did not seem to be all that big of a deal. In some cases, it makes it seem like the referee did something wrong (like the fairly vanilla reason for Johnny Grier in New England).
