From what you guys know, can one blown play in a season disqualify a crew from postseason assignments? I hear this all the time, yet I think I've read more than once that postseason assignments come from a crew's work across the arc of a season. Which is it? The arc of the season. Hochuli got a playoff game after his inadvertant whistle in 2008. The Parry play last year (I think it involved not enforcing the forward fumble rule in the last 2:00) was an error for the crew, but I penciled them in for a playoff game because I thought overall that his crew had a great season. Cheffers' crew also had an administrative error last year and got a playoff - after I personally had them out just because of a numbers game. After Hochuli got a playoff game after his error in Denver, I wrote that we should all learn to NOT write off an official or crew after a major error. Well I didn't write off Parry and he was left out. I wrote off Cheffers and he was let in. The bottom line: We can make some eyeball judgements about an official or crew, but in reality we don't know their exact grades. So, every year there will be surprises, both good (Winter last year) and bad (Parry last year).

If you find Ron Winter's 2002 NYG-SF penalty announcement, please post it, I've been looking since it happened. I've got it, but I don't know how to post it on youtube..... FF7, Did you ever figure out how to post videos on YouTube?

I need special software to convert my DVD's into an electronic file that is postable on the internet. Unfortunately, I don't have the dough at this moment to invest for such software.
