I don't like the first or last one but I'm ok with the middle three recommendations. bit.ly/w4CZWg

I have concerns about the Helmet rule - I work D1 - and this is clearly a problem - but what happens when the LT loses his helmet because we missed a "hands to the face" - he now has to come out of the game for a play - and on the next play the QB gets blindsided and knocked out of the game!
How many times this year did we see helmets come off - and the player slides them right back on with all 4 snaps still snapped?
What is going to be the foul when a player makes a play without his helmet? (key block in the Armed Forces Bowl by BYU tackle on last play off the first half came without his helmet on.)

In working HS, I don't think I've even seen a helmet come off due to legal action during the down. Sounds like there could be some big unintended consequences to the helmet law.

Foul will be "Prolonged participation" with penalty of 15 yards and auto 1st if by B. I will probably not announce " prolonged participation" however!! Also, 10 second runoff applies if helmet comes off under 1 minute in either half. This is all just in proposal stage currently...nothing final.

Final changes approved. Biggest change that we'll notice is the kickoff line and touchbacks are now brought out to the 25...... bit.ly/AkVbwd
