NC was one of the states recording helmet data. We had to turn in a report after each game of the regular season indicating the player and team of each occurrence. I have heard the numbers were staggering. Expect an emphasis byNFHS this summer on proper helmet fitting.

I also have read that the Free Kick mechanics will change and that both the L and LJ will be positioned at the 50 now, with only the U and R deep. Not really sure I think that is a good idea. Was anyone seeing an issue on free kicks that caused that rule change?

Was anyone seeing an issue on free kicks that caused that rule change? No, and on our crew if we're in an obvious onside kick situation, the HL will join the LJ at the 50. As BJ, I'd rather have two help me for offside at the 40! ;D
