I think # 50 was Tony Skover That's what I thought. Was Skover a referee but then moved? This footage was taken in the mid-1960s, so this might be a referee who retired shortly after that and then Skover was hired. I think there are a few on this board who might know.

I think Skover was originally a Field Judge,then promoted to R and I think he went back to FJ???

Jimtunney, you are correct. Skover was R in 1969, and went back to FJ (today's BJ) in 1970, and worked SB VII with Tommy Bell, and retired after the 1973 season, when a U named Kramer took his number.
